On June 26, 2003 Scandia Health Systems of Boise, Idaho acquired substantially all of the assets of Vico Product Manufacturing Company's sauna heater division. Vico's parent company, Sta-Rite Industries, an international manufacturer of pumps and water processing equipment for the water systems, pool, and filtration markets acquired Vico in July 2001. During its integration review, Sta-Rite concluded that Vico's sauna heater business would be better aligned with a strategic partner sharing similar objectives. Accordingly, Sta-Rite chose to divest the assets of the sauna heater business.

Over the past few months, Sta-Rite has endeavored to find the right company that is well positioned to continue production of Vico's sauna heater products with the same quality and consistency you have become used to.
